QSW-2900 Layer 2+ Enhanced Security Intelligent Switch
QSW-2900 series layer 2+ enhanced security intelligent ethernet switch is the modularization architectured security intelligent ethernet switch and PON ONU published to meet the high need of QoS. It adopts advanced ASIC, provides intelligent flow classification and consummated quality of service (QoS)of L2 to L4, realize consummated service control and user management, and can be used as layer 2+ switch with fast convergence switch for ME, convergence switch of enterprise network MAN network and PON network to focus on service management and control and network security guarantee.

- High capacity wire speed switching ability
The bus bandwidth with the switching ability of as much as 19.2Gbps configures 32M buffer to provide layer 2 “wire speed” switching capacity for all interfaces of the switch. Hardware can recognize and handle applied service flow of L2 to L4. All interfaces can separately packet filtration, distinguish, manage and control different applied flow.
- Consummated security intelligent control
QSW-2900 provide the Selective QinQ for “VpU/VpS” and VPN services, PPPoE Plus and CLIPS AAA schemes.
QSW-2900 supports 802.1x authentication and user’s identity necessary authentication when connecting to the network, and effectively prevents illegal user’s connection by any combination binding of agile MAC, IP, VLAN, PORT. It supports most of ACL access control strategy to configure user’s privilege of connecting to the internet to guarantee network accessing controlled.
- High reliability
Storms suspect defend from any kind of storms- broadcast, multicast, unicast, unknown unicast to guarantee the reliable operation of the network. Ring protection with fast convergence less than 200 millisecond (ERRP-EAPS) meet requirements of Real Time Services (VoIP and IPTV). Also supported STP, RSTP, MSTP, LACP, SLA.
- Applied QoS guarantee
QSW-2900 possesses well congestion control and flow control, and supports Diffserv distinguishing which can distinguish unapplied flow according to such L2 to L4 marker as source/destination MAC address, IP address to meet the need of all kinds of real-time QoS.
Three kind of supported QinQ – port based, vlan based and Selective- can provide HQoS from access port to MPLS Core based on providers rules.
- Convenient maintenance
QSW-2900 supports configured anti-compiling to port in/out configuration at any moment, and quickly restore and copy network configuration for convenient batch operation and everyday maintenance. It supports Syslog which can keep note about system operation and noting and handling fault; it also supports management security, that is, only managed VLAN and specified IP address can connect management.
