QSW-3900 series are of high performed stackable 10GE safety router switches which can provide 24/48 high density GEs and 2/4 10G uplink interfaces and combine advanced technology of switching architecture, system resilience, quality of service, switch security, low power consumption and parts redundancy to the box shaped switches, which establishes the standard of leading price-performance, scalability and TCO to provide convergence of GE interfaces for IP MAN and campus network, which can be applied to convergence layer of IP MAN and core layer of large-scaled enterprise network and campus network.
QSW-3900 series adopts high performed ASIC chips and CPU, and hardware supports multilayer wire speed switching of L2 to L7, and its total switching bandwidth is 220Gbps to 384Gbps. Non-block architecture can realize max-throughput and lowest delay of the packets of any size to guarantee the reliable operation of all application of voice, video, and data over IP, and provides intelligent flow classification and consummated features. Switches also support consummated high-performed routing protocol and powerful QACL to guarantee the high performance and stability and provide system security.

- High density full-wire-speed multilayer switching
QSW-3900 supports switching bandwidth of 220Gbps to 384 Gpbs, and equips with 128M to 256M buffer. All ports support layer2 and layer 3 wire speed switching, and can recognize and deal with application service flow of layer 2 to layer 7, and all ports can filtrate packets by themselves, distinguish different application flow, and manage and control packets transferring according to different flows. The packet transmitting rate can be 32Mpps to 120Mpps. It can provide at most 24/48 SFP GE and 2/4 10G interfaces to meet customer’s need of high density GE convergence and 10GE uplink facilities. - High reliability
High usability possesses the characteristics of redundancy, hot-swappable, continuous software upgrading, Real time ring protection with fast convergence less than 200 millisecond (ERRP-EAPS). Dual Homing VRRP scheme protection. Advanced non-block array adopts selfadaptive routing technology to support service smoothly handled, and support 1+1 hot redundancy power backup, and redundancy backup and fault tolerance of port convergent links by stack interface. It supports 802.1d standard spanning-tree protocol, 802.1w fast spanning-tree protocol, 802.1s multi-spanning-tree protocol to guarantee the reliable operation of the network. - Consummate security mechanism
Based on the lowest-prefix match, system adopts the way of transmitting packets on by one, which can effectively filtrate message that conforms to a certain condition, and protect against all kinds of attacks to guarantee the security of facilities. It supports all kinds of MAC address binding and interface locking, and also supports enhanced 802.1x authentication based on logical interface to shield and isolate illegal users. It supports SSH and administrative security configuration to encrypt administrative message, and configures the security of administrative IP address. - Abundant service feature
QSW-3900 supports powerful unicast and multicast IPv4 protocols collection, RIP, OSPF, BGP and static routing protocol of all kinds, DHCP Server and DHCP Relay, layer 2 and layer 3 multicast and PIM protocol, and it also supports QinQ and powerful QACL can recognize service type based on the packet characteristics of layer2, layer3 and layer 4 to provide abundant QoS features and control. QSW-3900 adopts Three Color Marker to provide flow control of single rate and two rate for over 250,000 data stream and realize ens-to-end quality of service by authorization, which is based on hardware, marker, and congestion. It also possesses outstanding congestion and flow control, supports priority handling and scheduler matching of DiffServ, 802.1p, WRR, RED to scheduler and congestion control different service of different priority. It provides flow control granularity with the step length of 64Kbit/s to manage different services, and supports flow distingushment and flow control based on Layer2/3/4.
